(EndPlay Staff Reports) - Wednesday night's "American Idol" might have been the most memorable episode you'll see all season, if only for one reason.

Even though Symone Zaire Black charmed judges with her version of Otis Redding's "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay," fans are far more likely to remember her for the spill she took off the stage. While judges bantered back and forth about her performance, Black accidently teetered too closely to the edge of the stage and fell, hitting her head on the way down. A medic was called and host Ryan Seacrest promised viewers would find out the 16-year-old singer's fate on Thursday's episode.

Other highlights from the episode included:

Funnyman Jim Carey's daughter Jane Carey made it to the Hollywood round, but not any further. She wasn't alone in her dismissal: Jason "Wolf" Hamlin; Jenny Schick, who kissed judge Steven Tyler during the Aspen auditions; and Travis Orlando also got the boot

Advancing competitors include David Leathers Jr., who wowed judges Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson and Tyler with his own spin on Celine Dion's "Because You Loved Me," and Johnny Keiser, who showed off his vocal talents by singing "Dreaming" by Amos Lee.

Also moving forward are Adam Brock, Baylie Brown, Hallie Day, Creaighton Fraker, Lauren Gray, Hee Jun Han, Jen Hirsh, Brittany Kerr, Shannon Magrane, Jessica Phillips, Phillip Phillips, Elise Testone, Erika Van Pelt and Angie Zeiderman. Reed Phillips also got a chance to go on in the competition; he got another golden ticket by performing "I've Got a Golden Ticket" from the film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factor.

"American Idol" will be back again at 8 p.m. Thursday on FOX. Tune in for more Hollywood performances.
