MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Shelby County Health Department is administering free swine flu vaccine this week.

According to the Department's chief medical officer Helen Morrow, there is an "ample supply" to meet a high demand by the general public for the vaccine.

It will be given at nine area clinics, beginning Tuesday. The hours and days vary.

This is the second round of vaccination. The department administered injectable vaccine to young children in October.

Morrow said anyone who got a regular flu shot should also take the swine flu shot. She said the emphasis is on children, young adults, health care workers and people living with children under six months old.
