Sources: Tigers To Join Big East For 2013-2014 Season

Memphis, TN - According to cbsports.com , Memphis and the Big East conference are in the final stages of negotiations for Memphis to join the conference beginning in 2013.

When contacted by CBSSports.com's Gary Parrish about the move to the Big East, Memphis athletic director R.C. Johnson declined comment.

Three other C-USA members, Houston, SMU, and UCF, are already a part of the league.

Sources also said that an announcement of the move could come as early as this week.
