Z-Bo, Allen Host Valentine's Party

Memphis, Tn - Memphis Grizzlies' Zach Randolph and Tony Allen are giving back to the local community by hosting a Valentine's Day Party for mothers and children of the Memphis Family Shelter Monday, February 13 at the Westin Memphis Beale Street from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Randolph and Allen will sponsor mini manicures and pedicures for the mothers provided by The Nail and Skin Bar, while also hosting a Valentine's Day party for the kids with cupcakes and popcorn. The players will also help the kids create Valentine's Day cards to give to the mothers. In addition, Randolph has a special surprise planned for the children in attendance.

Founded in 1992, the Memphis Family Shelter provides transitional housing and supportive services for homeless mothers and their children. The mothers and children live in a safe environment while they work to achieve independent living through a well-rounded learning program. Since opening its doors, Memphis Family Shelter has helped 247 homeless women make a better life for themselves and their 593 children by participating in supportive services and training for independent living.
