No Extension for Gay

Memphis, Tn - The Memphis Grizzlies will not sign Rudy Gay to a contract extension, and the 6-9 forward will become a restricted free agent, according to numerous reports.

Gay, had reportedly been seeking an offer in the neighborhood of 5 years and $60 million dollars, although his agent said those numbers were not accurate.

The Grizzlies will have the right to match any offer that Gay will receive this summer, as a restricted free agent.

The 23 year old has led the team in scoring in each of the past two seasons.
