2nd Annual River City Showdown

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Local student athletes will have a chance to show off their skills to high profiled head coaches from across the country.

The 2nd Annual River City Showdown kicks off Thursday, July 8th in Memphis, Tennessee.

Last year, the event had 32 teams from around the South and several head coaches from around the country made an appearance. This year the teams have doubled to 64 teams and hope to attract interest from NCAA college coaches and fans.

The event is presented by Basketball Events and Clinics. BEAC was founded in 2008 by Ryan Luttrell after several years of working for major sporting events such as the NFL Super Bowl and the US Open Tennis Tournament. BEAC is an event management company and hosts many basketball related events, such as coaches clinics, AAU tournaments, NBA- camps and many others.

The event ends July 11th.
