FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Arkansas coach John Pelphrey has shifted assistant coach Isaac Brown to an administrative position and is looking to hire a new member of his staff.

The Razorbacks finished the season at 14-17, losing their final six games, all against Southeastern Conference teams. The school said Monday that assistants Rob Evans and Tom Ostrom are keeping their jobs, and that Brown will continue in his recruiting role until a replacement is named.

Pelphrey says the change is intended to improve both the support staff and the coaching staff.

On Sunday, Pelphrey had his end-of-season meeting with athletic director Jeff Long.

Long says he asked Pelphrey "to do more than win basketball games" and build the program on and off the court.
