The lottery begins today in Arkansas. Beginning today, convenience stores across the state will begin selling scratch off lottery tickets for $1, $2, and $5. The state plans to add Powerball late in October and more games by the end of the year. The Kansas Lottery Commission hopes to raise $400 million dollars a year with proceeds going towards college scholarships. Will the lottery be good for Arkansas? Can it succeed?
