Pardoned Killer Nowhere to be Found

Jackson, Ms - Mississippi investigators are still trying to track down a Desoto county killer recently pardoned by former governor, Haley Barbour.

Officers say Joseph Ozment hasn't complied with judge's orders, to report to the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Ozment was serving life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murder of a store clerk in 1992.

Ozment was among the over 200 criminals that received pardons from Barbour on his way out of office.
