OLIVE BRANCH, Miss. - Transfer Cleared to Play OBHS Football
OLIVE BRANCH, Miss.
A former Melrose High School football stand-out has been cleared to play for Olive Branch High School. According to his defense attorney, Steve Farese, Devin Mondie will be allowed to suit up starting October 14th.

Mondie and three other players were ruled ineligible to play by the Mississippi High School Activities Association after transferring from Melrose to Olive Branch earlier this year. They were ruled ineligible to play for Olive Branch last month because of a residency violation.

However, Mondie's attorney met with the MHSAA last week, and presented evidence that his client had, in fact, met all the requirements to play. They cleared Mondie to play for Olive Branch High School on Friday.
