HERNANDO, Miss. - Officials in Hernando Mississippi have made an arrest in the Road Rage Shooting incident that occurred last Saturday and left the victim being transported to the Med.
MS officers received several tips about possible owners of the suspected vehicle that was involved in last weeks Road Rage Shooting.
After going through many of the leads, MS officials received a tip that leads us to another possible suspect who may have been the guy we were looking for. When officers looked at the subject's vehicle, they noticed some things were recently missing from the truck ( the flowmaster sticker) and others were freshly added (a flame sticker). This threw up a red flag and lead to more questions.
The investigation lead to a confession from the suspect that he had shot into the victim's vehicle last Saturday night.
On October 8, 2009 officers arrested 22-year old Jeffrey Bateman of Coldwater MS on 3 counts of Aggravated Assault.
The investigation is still ongoing and there could possibly be more charges as officials learn more about the shooting.
The victim is still recovering at the Med and there is no update on his conditions as of yet.
