MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Tailgating spots for the Southern Heritage Classic will go on sale Friday.
Each tailgating space is valued at $25 and RV spaces will be available for $60. Tiger fans can purchase up to six spots at one time. All tailgating spots can be purchased through TicketMaster under the title "2010 Southern Hertitage Classis Tiger Lane Football Parking."
Each tailgating space has a 10Wx20L parking space, an adjacent 10x10 grass pad, and one 20 amp electrical connection. All tailgaters will be required to make sure their belongings fit in their assigned spaces.
Golf carts, ATVs, and scooters will not be allowed due to traffic flow.
The Tiger Lawn will be the open grassy area that is free and open to the public. People are encouraged to enjoy the park on game day by bringing blankets, lawn chairs and picnic items.
Tiger Lawn is located between the Tiger Lane tailgating spots and is an entry way to the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. Due to the fact that Tiger Lawn is new and the grass will not have had time to stabilize and take hold, no tents or cooking of any type will be allowed on the lawn.
The purchase of a Tiger Lane tailgating spot is solely for the Southern Heritage Classic. All other tailgating areas will be sold on a first come first served basis beginning on Thursday, September 9th at 8am.
Game day entrance into Tiger Lane will only be off East Parkway South.
