Memphis, Tn - In the blink of an eye, a shot was fired and 29-year-old Orlandus Cobbins was killed.
Monday night, Dominique Mitchell says her cousin came to the family's home on Hill Street in Covington, parking his car in their driveway.
Mitchell was inside her home when seconds later she was rattled by a gunshot.
"I got up and looked out the window and I saw his car door open and the car was still running, but didn't see him."
Mitchell said she looked out another window and still didn't see her cousin. Then, she went outside to the garage. She found Orlandus there, who collapsed into a pool of blood.
"He took one last breath and he just fell and just left and he wouldn't say nothing else, would do nothing else."
Investigators are searching for the suspect.
"We trying to stay strong that's all we can do and pray," says Mitchell.
