3 Vehicle Accident Involving Daycare Van

Memphis, Tn - A three car accident involving a daycare van and 10 people sent several individuals to the hospital.

It happened Wednesday afternoon just after 2 PM at Third and Western Park.

According to witnesses at the scene, no children were hurt in the accident. Several ambulances arrived shortly after the accident and rushed four adults to the hospital in critical condition.

The name of the daycare with the van involved is Chism Childcare Enrichment Complex.

"We saw the car coming, but Mr. Rudy wasn't paying attention, he was just driving, and talking on the phone," said 6-year-old Josiah Anderson, who was on the bus when the accident happened. "It was horrible, I was really scared."

The accident is still under investigation, no charges have been filed.
