Runner Dies After Finishing St. Jude Marathon

Memphis, Tn - Around noon on Saturday a female runner completed the St. Jude Memphis Half Marathon, collapsing at the finish line. She received immediate attention from race medical professionals and was rushed to Methodist University Hospital where she died.

This is the first death in the 30 year history of marathons held in Memphis.
