Fire at Kimball Apartment Complex

Memphis Firefighters were called to the scene of an apartment fire on the 2800-block of Kimball near Lamar Avenue Friday afternoon.

Crews responded to the call around 4:30pm. Fire officials say that while the complex's units are abandoned, there were reports of "squatters", or homeless people, staying in some of the units.

No injuries were reported. Investigators have not yet determined what caused the fire.
