Memphis, Tn - There's a bill circulating the halls of the Tennessee statehouse that would make it legal to pack heat at work.
The bill is sponsored by a democrat, and would make it legal for carry permit holders to keep their loaded weapons in their cars in parking lots, that means at your job, on a college campus, and even at the grocery store.
Governor Haslam says this isn't a major bill on his agenda, but won't say if he'd veto it or sign it into law.
Sam Cooper from the Tennessee Firearm Association joined Ernie Freeman to talk about the new legislation.
