Memphis, Tn - Public figures are taking heat all across the country for off color comments.
Memphis radio host Thaddeus Matthews insulted black Republican Charlotte Bergmann on the air, telling her to "get your stupid, ignorant ass out of my studio." He also refused to shake her hand because he doesn't want her "whiteness" to rub off on him.
Following a big victory in Florida on Tuesday, Mitt Romney is under fire for comments he made about the poorest Americans.
He said, "I'm in this race because I care about Americans. I'm not concerned about the very poor, we have a safety net there. If it needs repair, I'll fix it."
Tennessee State Senator Stacey Campfield also made national headlines for what some are calling an anti-gay agenda. He made a comment on a radio show that the AIDS virus started in humans after a gay flight attendant had sex with a monkey.
Fox 13 political analysts Ben Ferguson and Joseph Kyles joined Ernie Freeman to discuss these hot button issues.
