GREENVILLE, Miss. - A Washington County judge has issued an arrest warrant for Greenville's police chief amid allegations from three women that he threatened to shoot them.
The Delta Democrat Times reports that Circuit Judge Ashley Hines issued the order on Wednesday, a day after he heard testimony from the women against Chief Charles Patterson.
Patteson was suspended without pay in September after three women -- Kela Miller, Ne'Cura Swilley and Kiara Richardson -- signed affidavits that Patterson threatened them.
The women said that they didn't know who Patterson was until he identified himself as the chief of police.
