MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Although bikers, runners and walkers have been enjoying it for weeks, Shelby County's new Greenline officially opened Tuesday.

The seven mile paved trail runs along the old CSX railroad line from Tillman Street in Mid-Town to Shelby Farms Park.

Saturday morning, an event dubbed "Bands, Bikes and Block Parties" is set to start at 10:00am with a fun run at Crenshaw Park.

The run will be followed with a trail dedication at noon.
