Suspect Sought in Whitehaven IHOP Robbery

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Memphis Police are searching for the suspect that robbed a Whitehaven area IHOP at gunpoint early Thursday morning.

The robbery happened just before 2:00am at the IHOP on E. Shelby Drive by the Southland Mall. Investigators said that a man entered the business, approached the manager armed with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male in his early to mid 20's, around 6' tall, thin build, and last seen wearing a gray shirt and black pants.
