Pedestrian Critical after Frayser Crash

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A man is in critical condition at The Med after he was hit crossing the road in the Frayser area.

The accident occurred in front of the Mapco Station on the 3200-block of N. Thomas near Frayser Blvd. According to Memphis Police, a white 2003 Nissan Altima was driving northbound on N. Thomas when the driver hit a 68-year old male crossing the road. Investigators state that there was no traffic sign or crosswalk at the scene of the accident.

The incident is still under investigation, and no charges have been filed.
