MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Mid-Southerners will enjoy skating their way into the holidays and winter months on 5,400-square-feet of real ice for the first time ever at the Memphis Zoo.
From November 19 through January 31, visitors will be able to pull on their skates and take to the ice at a seasonal, tented ice skating rink located in the picnic area between Northwest Passage and Teton Trek.
Zoo visitors will have the option of combining skating with a day out at the Zoo or celebrating the magic of the holidays with a new favorite pastime during Zoo Lights, or on select skate only nights.
The rink will be open daily from 10:00am to 4:30pm, and on Zoo Lights nights the rink will be open from 5:30pm to 10:00pm. Skating fees are $6 including skate rental and $5 if guests bring their own skates. Zoo admission fees will also apply.
