Man Accused of Murdering Wife Faces More Charges

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The man who is already facing murder charges for killing his wife is now facing new charges for financial crimes.

Published reports say prosecutors plan to charge Joseph Caronna with theft, forgery and identity theft. Investigators say he billed insurance companies out of more than $500,000 since 2002.

They said the money helped pay for a car collection, including 6 cars and a motorcycle.

Caronna is already charged with First Degree Murder, for the death of his wife Tina in 2008. Her body was found in her truck near Bartlett.

He was later arrested in Jackson, Tennessee and is being held in jail without bond.
