FOX13 Source: Sherra Wright Not Cooperating With Police

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - New details have surfaced about what happened the day Sherra Wright was questioned by police in connection with the Lorenzen Wright murder investigation.

A source told FOX13 Lorenzen Wright's ex-wife was at the Memphis Police Department for two hours Friday with her defense attorney, Coleman Garrett.

Our source said she did not give a statement and she is not cooperating with MPD's investigation.

Police have asked Wright and Wright's attorney for more interviews but our sources said the requests have been declined.

But her attorney said at this point, there is no reason for his client to talk to police because she has nothing to offer in the death investigation.

"But since we have no personal information regarding the why he disappeared, what happened to him or whose responsible for his disappearance and eventually his murder, we don't have anything to add therefore there is nothing to be gained by us talking to the police about what we think *may* have happened," said Garrett.

Garrett also said his client did cooperate with police, when she gave them a key to her house so they could perform a search.

Memphis police are still asking anyone with any information to contact Crimestoppers at 528-CASH. You could be eligible for a cash reward.
