Three Injured in Hickory Hill Fire

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Three people were injured in a Friday night house fire in the Hickory Hill area.

The Memphis Fire Department was called to the 6700-block of Rockingham Drive near Riverdale and E Rained Rd just after 10:00pm, and had the fire knocked down by 10:35pm.

Three females ages 48, 20 and 16 were transported to The Med in non-critical condition for smoke inhalation. The 48-year old victim was also treated for minor grease burns to her right hand. There were no firefighters injured.

Fire investigators state that the cause of the fire came from food on the stove in the kitchen.
