MDOT Director Arrested at Casino

TUNICA, Miss. - The Executive Director of the Mississippi Department of Transportation was arrested at the Beau Rivage Casino early Friday.

Butch brown admitted to having a few drinks at the casino.

Brown said, around 3:00 am, a security guard told him he dozed off at a penny slot machine.

Brown was told to leave the property but he argued he wanted to go to his hotel room.

Brown is charged with misdemeanor, public intoxication.

He was released from jail on a $480 bond.
