HOT SPRINGS, Ark. - A Louisiana man has drowned during a family vacation at Lake Ouachita.

The Garland County Sheriff's office says it was notified about 11:30 a.m. Saturday that someone may have drowned at the lake in an area known as Crawdad Island.

The sheriff's office says officers learned that 31-year-old Phillip Aguillard was with family members when he went to fish on the lake's bank. Officers say when family members returned, Aguillard's fishing pole and sunglasses were there but he was missing.
A six-person dive team from Monroe, La., which just happened to be in the area, helped law enforcement officers find Aguillard and recover his body about 1 p.m.

Aguillard's hometown wasn't known.
