MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Another rate hike could be coming from the post office, again.
The postal service wants to raise the price of stamps by another two cents.
That would bring the price up to 46 cents. The service has been struggling to stay in the black with more people e-mailing and paying their bills online.
The increase would bring in $2.5 million. The Postal Rate Commission has to approve the issue.
If approved, the new rate goes into affect January 2nd.
The post office is also considering ending Saturday delivery to save money.
