Millington, Tn - A five year old boy died on Sunday after he washed into a city drain.

He was playing near a retention pond behind the Wal-Mart on Highway 51 in Millington when he fell in and was swept away.

He was discovered in a nearby drainage ditch and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead.
