NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A state website has received more than 677,000 visitors inquiring about retiring to Tennessee.
RetireTennessee.org is part of a recruitment program aimed at getting retirees to locate in the state.
State officials this week announced that Loudon County has become the 11th county to join the program.
Ramay Winchester, manager of the Retire Tennessee Program, said communities continue to attract active adults from throughout the country to move to the state.
The other counties in the program are Cumberland, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Henry, Jefferson, Lincoln, Putnam, Robertson and Sullivan.
