Southwind Open House

Normally, getting through the gates of Southwind isn’t an easy task if you don’t live there or know someone who does. But, that’s not the case today.

In a rare open house opportunity, the community showcased their amenities and about 30 of their homes for sale, hoping people will buy.

Starting at 2 in the afternoon on Sunday cars lined up, hoping to get a glimpse of the high dollar homes.

Houses for sale in the community range in price of $300,000 to $3,000,000, and local Crye-Leike Realtor Melinda Merkle says they’re hoping the exposure will turn into some sales. “With the economic change we have seen the higher end homes are slower to sell for sure and so part of this is to generate sales in Southwind."
