Wynne, Ark. - Cross County authorities are investigating the death of an 80-year-old woman who was found in a church as a homicide.

Sheriff's Detective Keith Vaughn says officials received a call about 12:30 p.m. Sunday that a body had been found at the Central United Methodist Church.

Vaughn said Monday that Lillian Wilson, who was from the area, appeared to have suffered blunt force trauma to the head. Sheriff J.R. Smith had said Wilson's pastor found her after he
went looking for her when she didn't show up for church.

The pastor of the church who found the woman slain, said he believed Lillian Wilson was there to pick up disaster buckets. The disaster buckets had supplies such as rubber gloves, handy wipes, wash towels and disinfectants.

The church was collecting items to give away to future disaster victims.

Police are searching for two suspects. One suspect is 41 year old Thomas Tweedle. He was last seen in Wilson's car, a 2003 Silver or Gray Mercury Marquis with license tags reading 737-NGN.
