MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The man who was found hiding in a little girl's tree house after fleeing a bank robbery by bicycle has been charged in a second robbery.

Sheriffs Deputies say a prominent neck tattoo on the man who robbed a Cordova bank earlier this week has linked him to another recent robbery in east Shelby County.

Just before 10 p.m. on May 27, a man walked into the Circle K convenience store at 1710 Whitten Road. Armed with a pistol, he demanded money from the clerk. The robber took the cash and a quart of beer. He left the area on foot.

The clerk noted the robber had a large tattoo on the side of his neck. The tattoo was a distinguishing characteristic of Jeremiah Isaiah, 39, who investigators believe robbed the Regions Bank at 1045 North Germantown Road this past Tuesday morning.

Just before 10 oclock, Isaiah, 39, of Memphis, walked into the bank and demanded money. After taking cash he took off on a bicycle.
Memphis Police Officers quickly located the bike and found Isaiah hiding nearby in a tree house behind a home in the 1000 block of Hawkview Drive.

Jeremiah Isaiah faces an Aggravated Robbery charge in connection with the convenience store holdup. No one was hurt during that event or the bank robbery.
