MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) – - What a Memphis City Council member called her "good deed for the day" may result in a citation.
A television news crew recorded Councilwoman Janice Fullilove driving off in her car to deliver food for the "Meals on Wheels" program last week.
Fullilove doesn't have a valid driver's license and she already faces a grand jury inquiry into whether she lied to obtain a duplicate license. He original license was revoked on a DUI conviction.
District Attorney Bill Gibbons told sources that he has asked the Tennessee Highway Patrol to investigate the incident.
Fullilove has not commented on the situation.
