Candidates Bolden, Hyman Withdraw from Primary

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Thursday was the deadline to withdraw from the upcoming Shelby County Primary elections.

Several candidates decided not to run for office, including a former Memphis Police Director.

James Bolden had entered in the Shelby County Sheriff's race, but missed the training certification deadline.

A second sheriff's candidate, Elton Hyman, also withdrew. He missed the certification deadline as well.

Hyman said he wants to support Randy Wade.
