Memphis, Tn - The oldest High School in Memphis, celebrated its centennial anniversary on Wednesday. Central High School first opened its doors in 1909.
Alumni and current students gathered in the school’s lobby for a ceremony marking the occasion.
Central’s Principal, Gregory McCullough, says the students are excited to be a part of such a major event in the school’s history, “Students are excited, especially the class of 2010 because they love being the hundredth year class.”
Several staffers here at Fox 13 graduated from Central High, including Director Ken Adams!
