Online Shipping Deadlines Approaching

(MYFOX NATIONAL) - More people this year are doing their holiday shopping online, according to consumer electronics site Retrevo , and free shipping and coupon codes are a big reason why. If you're looking to get those gifts to your loved ones by Christmas Eve, WalletPop reports that many deadlines are fast approaching.

Those who want to avoid high shipping costs and pay standard shipping should be aware that many stores' deadlines are between Dec. 14 and 20. But if you can afford to shell out a bit more, some stores allow people to order as late as Dec. 23 to have their gifts arrive on time.

Or you could wait until Dec. 17, which is free shipping day for many Web sites. FreeShippingDay.com lists more than 500 online vendors will be participating in the day, including Borders.com, Kmart.com, Macys.com, RedEnvelope.com and Sephora.com.
