Man Turns Himself in After Stabbing His Mother

Memphis, Tn - Tragedy struck Wednesday morning in the Hickory Hill community.

Memphis Police say a woman in a home off New London was stabbed to death.

Investigators say about 20 minutes after 4 AM a 46-year-old man walked into the Mt. Moriah Police Station and told officers he had just stabbed his mother.

Investigators went to the man's home off Mt. Moriah Extended and found the body with multiple stab wounds.

The man in police custody has not been charged yet.
