Fayetteville, AR - A Fayetteville woman said she was told her husband was being held hostage so she robbed a bank to free him.
Betty Davis also claimed she was strapped with an explosive device.
Davis told police at least one man came inside her home Monday, tied up her husband Dean Davis, and forced her to leave. Police spent all day Monday at the Davis’ home collecting evidence.
Neighbors said the Davis’ were nice and friendly neighbors who have lived at their home for a long time.
Investigators said they consider the suspect armed and dangerous.
