Marion, AR - Cindy Wood says she was making breakfast around 7 o'clock Friday morning when a deer jumped a 6 foot fence in her Marion, Arkansas backyard and decided he wanted breakfast too.
Wood says, "I heard a thud, thought it was a bird at first I looked up and it wasn't.

A deer hit the window again and came through the kitchen window. "I thought, 'oh don't tell me there's a deer in my house'!"

The deer busted through the kitchen window, sending glass and blood, everywhere. Then it saw Wood in the kitchen and chased her to the dinning room. It was ultimately her 10 pound pomeranian who saved the day and every breakable item in the home.
Wood says, "the dog latched on to him and was able to heard him through the dinning room or the entry way and get him back to the kitchen."

Instead of a bull, it was like a deer in a china shop.
The Wood's home is dripping with blown glass, china and other breakable art, collected from Italy and Greece but their dog, named Jackson, kept the 140 pound deer at bay and unable to damage anything.
Woods' husband and son eventually tackled the animal.
Wood says, "he was thrashing and kicking and a deer makes a terrible noise. They grabbed the legs of the deer and carried it out the back door."

The deer was set free.
Wood says she hadn't seen deer in her neighborhood before and hopes she doesn't, anytime soon.
Wood says, "he stood up, stephen says, looked at him and took off running."

The deer bit woods' son's hand, so he had to get a tetanus shot but she says he'll be fine.
The woods say they're lucky nothing more than a window was broken, they found out their insurance doesn't cover deer damage.
