It was an opportunity to get a house at a rock bottom price. Tuesday Mid-Southerners got a chance to bid on foreclosed homes at a public auction. The auction company selling area homes for banks and lenders says the Memphis and Nashville foreclosure market is not as severe as in other parts of the country, but there's still a lot of inventory to unload in order to reenergize the economy.
