Burn Awareness Week

Memphis, Tn - It's burn awareness week, and the Regional Medical Center in Memphis says the statistics are alarming!

75 percent of burn victims die on the scene or on the way to the hospital and burns lead to the hospitalization of almost 40 thousand children each year, and that results in over 1000 deaths.

Joining GMM to break down the numbers and to talk more about how to stay safe is Denise Headin from the Regional Medical Center.
