Memphis, Tn - Folks preparing to feed a crowd are stocking up this holiday season.

"We got teaspoons, $2.19 a dozen. Salad forks, $3.09 a dozen, forks, $2.99 a dozen. These are china plates. This one, $1.51 a piece. 79-cents for a salad plate," explained owner Lester Lit.

Welcome to Lit, Junior. The restaurant-supply store that also offers food, spices, and anything else you might need to feed a crowd, for prices that compare with your favorite warehouse store or better.

"Restaurants shop here, grocery stores, churches, caterers shop here, everybody gets the same price."

You'll find more disposable aluminum and paper products than you knew existed.

"This is about $3, will last at my house about a week. I'm sure I'd spend three times that for regular rolls of paper towels," said one shopper

Shopping for the holidays? This is a good place to start.

A ten pound bag of corn cobblets for $8.99. Six pounds of yams for $5.50. Sliced squash for less than $3.00. Six pound can of green beans for $4.29.

"If we can't sell it as cheap as the big players, we don't want to compete," says Lester.
