Memphis, Tn - The University of Memphis is on a roll. In the midst of its centennial celebration, and last week's news of a move to the prestigious Big East conference, Wednesday night, the University celebrates on a different stage.

The U of M is one of the first colleges in the country to obtain the rights to Phantom of the Opera, arguably the biggest production to hit the college campus since the historic 1970 production of the musical "Hair."

Fox 13's Mearl Purvis was there for premiere night.
