Amy Cowman

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Amy joined FOX13 as a reporter in January 2006. Since arriving in Memphis, Amy has covered stories ranging from interviewing BB King to joining the Memphis police academy and reporting on the rigors recruits face, including getting pepper sprayed and firearms training.

Amy is also fluent in Spanish and uses that skill to report on the issues facing the Hispanic community in Memphis.

Before arriving in Memphis, Amy worked as Morning Anchor/ Reporter at WAGT in Augusta, Georgia where she got the opportunity to not only report on the Masters but also play Augusta National twice.

Amy got her start in news at CNN en Espanol and transferred to CNN working as a producer for Wolf Blitzer Reports and Crossfire.

When she's not working Amy enjoys traveling, visiting friends and family, and exercising - including training to run her first marathon. Amy grew up in the South and enjoys the live music and delicious food Memphis has to offer.
