It’s a little steamy today, but not bad. We’ve got another day of steam before a cold front pushes through Wednesday night. Tonight’s in the 70s and partly cloudy while tomorrow warms to 91°. There’s a 30% chance for showers or t’storms. Rain will be light, however, areas that get t’storms will see more. Thursday’s temps cool to the mid 80s, but we warm to the 90s by the weekend. The first of next week is back to the 80s.

Monday's Weather Headlines: Mostly sunshine, dry climate, humid conditions, and the return to typical July temperatures. We have a couple of seasonably warm days ahead of us through at least midweek before rain chances enter the picture. Peak afternoon readings will amp up to near 90 degrees before cooling off to the lower 70's overnight.Go ahead, chase down the ice cream truck, find a pool, and turn on your air-conditioners again!

Let the good times roll…at least for another day. Tonight drops to the low 60s again, and tomorrow stays in the low 80s under partly cloudy skies. Rain chances start Thursday night. While temps stay really nice Friday and Saturday, we’ll get soaked at the same time. There’s an 80% chance for showers and t’storms with rain totals climbing over an inch. Unfortunately, next week sees the return of 90° temps.

We have a cold front with a plan - creating the potential for severe storms this afternoon and tonight. The main concern being strong winds and large hail for parts of the MidSouth. Morning sunshine will quickly warm our temperatures ahead of the strong front and humidity levels will be high, making heat index values (real feel temperatures) skyrocket to 98 or 100 degrees. The day is shaping up to be a perfect start for the Memphis In Map World Championship BBQ Cooking Contest! After a cool and cloudy start, the sun is helping to warm temperatures into the upper 60s for our afternoon highs.
