Police say the search for missing 7-week-old Aniston Walker of Memphis will be suspended at 6 p.m. Saturday.
Police say they will call off the search for Saturday due to all areas have been searched thoroughly with no results.
The 7-week-old was reported missing Thursday from a home on Falling Bark in Northeast Memphis. The mother, 33-year-old Andrea Walker, reportedly told police she left her 3-year-old son and 7-week-old daughter at home alone while she took her 5-year-old son to school and when she returned, she discovered that her 7-week-old daughter was missing.
Police say the mother has been giving conflicting stories about what happened to the child. Walker is named a suspect in her daughter's disappearance. She is charged with Aggravated Child Abuse and Aggravated Child Neglect or Endangerment. Walker is currently in jail with a $500,000 bond.
Police say although search efforts will be suspended for Saturday, the investigation into the whereabouts of the 7-week-old will continue.
